Absentia is Latin for absence. In absentia, a legal term, is Latin for “in the absence” or “while absent.” What does that mean to you? Greetings, Dear Blogophilians! Welcome to Week 19 of Year 17!

We hope the Halloween prompts inspired you to join us and write with us last week!! Now we’re on to something else dangerous – “Dangerous Attractions!” Many of you have probably seen that scary movie from the ’80s that warn us of the dangers of illicit affairs and getting entangled with someone who is a bit off kilter. But there are also other dangerous attractions in life – addiction, alcohol, thrill seeking, FOOD (sweets, bacon, you name it), and other negative influences. Do you have a dangerous attraction, or have you ever experienced one? Inquiring minds want to know…. and if you have not, just let your imagination run a little on the “dangerous” side this week!
